Hello Again ..

Finally updating after what seems to be forever ! My school term is over after a horrendous economics class and I have some cool news. I got offered an Internship with the Accessories Dept. at Lucky Magazine in NYC which is truly amazing as I have always wanted to be a part of the Conde Nast team on any level. I have booked my ticket and will be staying with my bestie the beautiful and talented Charlotte Carey. I leave for NYC on August 1t for 3-4 months. I will be leaving my boyfriend, dog, and family in Washington to go on this amazing adventure and cant wait. I am hoping to be posting more often my outfits and inspiration around the city which will be part of my :

"Big Girl Big City" 

series I will be doing! I am actually pretty excited about it and am going to force myself to make time between school and my internship to blog post .

With leather shorts .. I think I will always have a place in my heart for them. It is almost impossible to find a plus size version of this look , the closest I have gotten is a pair of high waisted pleated white leather shorts my aunt gave me from the 80's. Lovin the below looks : )

Sheer Breeze ..

The oversized craze as of lately is legitimately a god send for bigger girls! I love the sheer look of this LuLu top and the movement of the fabric when you walk. I have always loved printed leggings ( even though thats plus size "taboo") these H&M are comfortable and the brown panels help to break of the harsh print on the legs.

School DAZE !!

I have currently been hustlin at school and trying to start a small accessories line, therefore have been slacking on my blog : ( . I am happy to say that I have been getting far with the accessories and thus far have about 35 ish pieces ?. I am going to be shooting a look book in the next few weeks and will post pictures then. The weather was great today so I thought I would take that as an opportunity to take some pics..I just got this vintage blouse while in L.A in February and haven't really gotten a chance to wear it out yet. I find as a bigger girl vintage is either my best friend or my worst enemy, In this case I love the fit and the print ! and the hat is one of many in my massive collection lol
